Cardiff Squash Centre is the venue for a variety of Squash Competitions throughout the year.
MONDAY
Monday Night Cardiff Mixed An internal competition held on Monday Nights. This squash competition is
open to all ages. This comp runs for 20 to 22 weeks and there are 2 comps run every year. Format for Monday night Mixed is two back-to-back 20minute halves and is ranked on SportyHQ Game Fees $20 per night Discounts for full comp paid up front.
TUESDAY
Ladies Social Squash Occurring on Tuesday nights 6pm to 7pm. This is for ladies only ranging from beginner to intermediate skill levels. An ideal place for beginners to improve their squash skills, with Ladies available to help with coaching. Game Fees $20 per night.
Power Squash has two time slots 5pm or 6:30pm each group runs for 1.5hrs. Format is 1 game to 20 points, then swap opponents after every game to 20 points.
Both social groups have no lock in commitment your just need to be added to our list and you are sent an invite the day before asking your if you would like to book in. **Bookings are essential**
WEDNESDAY & THURSAY 7pm
Cardiff Flexi Comps are internal comps that run in between NSRA Pennants.
This is social comp that great to keep yourself on the court in between major comps.
Players looking to improve their game, keep fit or maybe just to get a feel for comp without the pressure.
Format will vary, depending on the night. Par 15 (all 5 matched played) or 3 games to 20 points. Game Fees $20 per night. Discounts for full comp paid up front.
NSRA Pennants Competitions Several teams use this as their home to compete in the Autumn and Spring Pennants Competitions run by the Newcastle Racquets Association. You can find full details of the draw and your rating on the SportyHQ website.
This competition runs twice a year.
Pennants is a team-based comp with teams consisting of a minimum of 3 players. You can entre as a team or as a player and we will place you in a team. Pennants is all rated and ranked. With each player having their own SportyHQ ranking and playing in their according division. If you are new and don’t have a rating we can arrange for you to have a grading hit so you can be place in the best division for your level. Format is approx. 15 weeks, Par 15. Registration is $40 per player for the season and $20 per game.
